AirTran to charge obsese for two seats
AirTran of the United States has become the latest airline to charge obsese passengers for a second seat, mimicking the line of parent Southwest Airlines. “Customers of size” will be forced to pay double for their travel from March next year.
Tentative agreement between Air Transat and its flight attendants
Air Transat and its 1,500 flight attendants, represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) have reached a tentative agreement for a new labour contract. The 5-year agreement would expire in 2015 and will be submitted shortly to ratification by the flight attendants.
