Air Europa is delighted to sponsor three world-class Spanish and Latin American events in London. The exciting and unique programme kicks off this week with Camablache – One Night in Argentina (MC Motors, Dalston, 17th-18th April); followed by The London Spanish Film Festival Spring Weekend (Cine Lumiere, London, 25th-28th April), and Gaucho Polo (O2 Arena, 21st May).
Air Europa, the Latin American specialist, has been named as the sixth most punctual airline in the world, and the most punctual European airline. The announcement, made last month by FlightStats, is based on statistics from last February.
Air Europa, the Latin America specialist, will link Montevideo and London three times weekly as of June 3rd with the opening of a new route. Using an Airbus 330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 299 passengers, including 24 business class seats designed for maximum privacy and comfort, the route will be a gateway for UK leisure and business travellers to Uruguay´s capital and the fashionable coastal resorts Punta del Este and Jose Ignacio.
Air Europa had confirmed it will double its flights to Santo Domingo and will add three services to Havana per week from Madrid as of April 1st. For UK travellers the service begins in Gatwick via Madrid with short connection times at competitively priced airfares to the largest Caribbean islands.
Air Europa has commenced long-haul services to Bolivia as it further expands its network into Latin America. The twice-weekly flights to Santa Cruz depart from Gatwick via Madrid, connecting UK travellers to naturally diverse Bolivia, home to colourful indigenous communities and to breath-taking landscapes of the salt flats Salar de Uyuni and Lake Titicaca.
Air Europa has made two new appointments in the UK as it moves to larger offices in London. Maximiliano Campos has been appointed to the new role of senior sales manager and Joan Coleman joins the team as sales support.
Air Europa has launched daily flights to Lima as the airline keeps up with growing UK demand for flights to the Peruvian capital. With competitive prices and short connections times of less than three and a half hours, the daily service from London Gatwick via Madrid will carry even more holidaymakers to the culinary capital of the Americas, with its UNESCO-listed historical centre.
Air Europa has been confirmed as a sponsorship of the annual ABTA Travel Convention, due take place October 3rd-5th 2011. The Spanish airline, which specialises in flights to South America, is one of five headline sponsors of the industry event, alongside Cosmos Holidays, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts and First Data Merchant Solutions.
