Air Europa to offer flights to Recife, Brazil, from December
Air Europa will be introducing a new service from London Gatwick to the Brazilian city of Recife in December 2017, via Madrid. The twice-weekly route will start on December 20th - operating on Wednesdays and Fridays - with the addition of a third weekly flight expected in 2018.

Aerolíneas Argentinas and Air Europa have announced an extension to the existing commercial agreement between the two companies. The recent FITUR exhibition marked the conclusion of this new step, extending the joint collaboration that already existed between Ezeiza and Madrid to include more routes and destinations.
Air Europa to offer summer flights to Veradero, Cuba
Air Europa has launched its new route from Madrid to Veradero, Cuba. The flight, on-board an Airbus 330-200, will operate until August 25th, with two weekly fights. The operation of the new route will also enable excellent connection through the airline’s hub in Madrid, with the rest of the airline’s domestic and European destinations.
Farnborough 2016: Air Europa places 20 737 MAX 8 order
Boeing and Air Europa has announced an order for 20 737 MAX 8s at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow. “The 737 MAX will complement Air Europa’s growing fleet and is the perfect aircraft for our short-haul operations across Europe to feed our long-haul network from hubs in Madrid and Palma,” said Juan José Hidalgo, president, Globalia, the parent company of Air Europa.
Air Europa launches new Bogota route
Air Europa has launched its latest route, set to operate daily from Madrid to Bogota on its latest generation aircraft, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Air Europa chairman Juan Jose Hidalgo cut the ribbon at the inauguration in Barajas airport Madrid and was among passengers on the first flight to Bogota, the city thought to be the economic, cultural, political, financial and touristic hub of Colombia.

Air Europa is celebrating the delivery of the carrier’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Air Europa takes delivery of its first 787 Dreamliner following a ceremony held at Boeing’s 787 assembly site in North Charleston, South Carolina. Air Europa leased its first 787 through an agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital.
