Yotel set to open at Charles de Gaulle Airport in July

Yotel has announced the Paris location for their next hotel opening.

Due to open in July, it will be the first ever in-terminal hotel at Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The luxury cabins will be situated in the secure transit area in Terminal 2E, home to Air France and the SkyTeam Global Alliance.

Yotel’s Paris launch will form part of the opening of the brand new airport lounge area Instant Paris.

As the 12th busiest airport in the world Paris, Charles the Gaulle is one of the globe’s principle aviation centres welcoming 65.8 million passengers annually.

The innovative air-side hotel will be ideal accommodation for travellers catching extremely early flights, but also a great escape and sleeping haven for those who have a layover in the airport and need a comfortable and convenient place to stay while awaiting their onward journey.

Just as convenient, passengers with check-in luggage can take advantage of the airport’s early bag-drop service that allows guests to check their hold luggage the night before their flight.

The communal areas of each Yotel reflect the needs of the particular travellers to be welcomed at the location.

The Paris hotel will feature Yotel’s Club Lounge where guests can relax on comfy sofas enjoying Yotel’s signature free hot drinks.

Guests can use work spaces with USB charging points or relax in the Snug TV zone, perfect for informal gatherings.

All areas of the hotel are served by super-fast Wi-Fi connectivity.

Hubert Viriot, chief executive of Yotel, explained: “Just last year, the number of connecting passengers in Aéroports de Paris increased by 5.7 per cent now representing 24 per cent of all passengers.

“Like YOTEL, ADP and the SkyTeam Alliance are committed to making the transfer and flying experience at Charles de Gaulle one of the best in the world.

“Yotel is redefining this experience by providing a seamless, intuitive service and comfortable stay before, after and between flights.”
