Worldhotels signs new deal with TripAdvisor

Worldhotels, a leading group for independent hotels, has expanded its partnership with TripAdvisor to offer a TripAdvisor Business Listings Programme.

As part of the programme, the hotel group will encourage its member base to adopt Business Listings with the aim of helping hotels gain more visibility to travellers on TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor Business Listings enables individual hotels to increase their property’s exposure in front of TripAdvisor’s more than 50 million unique monthly visitors by adding their direct contact information—such as a website link, email address and phone number—to their property pages on the site, and also by adding special offers on high-visibility pages.

To increase subscribership among its members, Worldhotels is launching a global awareness campaign about the benefits of the Business Listings Programme.

Paulo Salvador, vice president global marketing and sales at Worldhotels, explained: “The Business Listings Programme enables hotels to increase direct bookings from TripAdvisor.

“We recognise the strong draw of the TripAdvisor brand and encourage our hotels to use Business Listings to its fullest extent.”

Worldhotels was also one of the first brands to form a content partnership with TripAdvisor to display TripAdvisor traveller reviews on the booking path of each property on its website,
