VIP Service signs multi-year agreement with Travelport

VIP Service, the leading travel consolidator in Russia, has signed a multi-year extension of its technology and content agreement with Travelport to further enhance the service it provides to customers.  In addition to its consolidator operation, VIP Service also operates Biletix, a top three online travel agency which also utilises a number of Travelport applications including Galileo Web Services and e-Tracker.

As part of the new agreement, VIP Service will begin using Travelport’s Flex product on their website to enable travellers to find low fares based on flexible travel dates – a type of search that is becoming more and more popular.

“Working with Travelport these past few years has proven to be an excellent decision that has enabled our business to flourish,” said Dmitry Gorin, General Director of VIP Service Holding. “As we continue to focus on growth and providing a first-class service to our customers, renewing our agreement with Travelport makes complete business sense.”

Maria Yakushkina, Country Manager Russia at Travelport, said: “VIP Service offers an excellent service to travel agencies and consumers in Russia and we are delighted to continue providing the technology and content behind them.”
