Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces has announced its first venture into Jammu and Kashmir with the opening of Vivanta by Taj-Srinagar this month. 

Vivanta by Taj is a hip, modern and stylish hotel brand with Taj’s hallmark high standards and warm hospitality. Bringing the portfolio to 20 hotels across India, this launch, which is a management contract between Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces and SAIFCO Hill Crest Hotels, marks Taj’s expansion into Northern India.

The Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir stated that this positive development will further enhance tourism in the state. According to Taj Executive Director, Abhijit Mukerji, it is also setting the pace for the pioneering of “new and unique destinations.”
