Stephen Dunk to head up Travelzoo in Europe

Travelzoo has confirmed the appointment of Stephen Dunk as managing director, Europe. 

Dunk now has full responsibility for Travelzoo’s media businesses across France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, reporting to the chief executive officer.

Glen Drury continues to lead Travelzoo Local Deals across the region and also reports to the CEO.

Dunk is the first managing director to be appointed after Chris Loughlin, the former managing director of Travelzoo in Europe was appointed to chief executive in July 2010.

He joined Travelzoo in April 2007 as country manager, UK. 

In December 2009 he was promoted to operations director, taking on a pan-regional role, driving efficiency across the group.

Dunk has over 20 years’ experience working within travel publishing and advertising sales in the UK including posts as managing director for Teletext Holidays on TV and sales director for the Daily and Sunday Telegraph.
