Sandals Royal Bahamian begins new renovation project

Sandals Royal Bahamian begins new renovation project

Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island in Nassau, Bahamas has begun a multi-million dollar renovation of the resort’s Windsor building.

Scheduled to be completed in January 2014, each of the building’s 174 luxurious Junior Suites will undergo complete refurbishment including the installation of new bathrooms that will feature Carrera marble and glass mosaics as well as magnificent new showers or deep tubs.

Each suite will receive new soft furnishings throughout and new grand, four poster beds - custom-made for Sandals, as well as nightstands and bar units.

New walkout patios will be introduced to the building’s west side to offer stunning views of the island.

Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart, chairman, Sandals Resorts International, commented: “The Windsor Building is relatively new but in true Sandals style we’re always looking to make the best even better!

“No expense has been spared and we can’t wait to share these new-look suites with our guests and travel partners.

“Work has begun and we will be completing one floor at a time, so our in-house guests will be completely unaffected by the renovations – a win/win for everyone!” Stewart added.

Last year, the former Manor Building at Sandals Royal Bahamian underwent a complete transformation both inside and out reopening with a spectacular new contemporary feel.

Renamed ‘The Balmoral Tower’ in recognition of its rich Regal history, the $17.5m renovation was unveiled to much acclaim and has since attracted glowing praise from both the travel industry and guests alike.
