Rumari Set to Host Two Exquisite Four-Hand Dinners with Internationally Acclaimed Chefs in January 2

Rumari is thrilled to unveil two extraordinary culinary events to kick off the new year – two exclusive “Rumari and Friends” four-hand dinners in January 2024, featuring esteemed chefs from prestigious establishments around the globe.
Led by Chef Gaetan Biesuz, Rumari is a fine dining restaurant in Bali that offers a serene setting with breathtaking views of Jimbaran Bay. It presents a contemporary take on Southeast Asian flavours while adhering to the 80/20 rule, sourcing 80% of its ingredients from local farmers and producers. Recognized as a Krug Ambassade, Rumari also received the Wine Spectators 2022 and 2023 “Award of Excellence.”

The first “Rumari and Friends” event will take place on January 12 and 13, 2024, showcasing the culinary artistry of Chef Wilfrid Hocquet from Blue by Alain Ducasse in Bangkok, Thailand. With one Michelin star, Blue by Alain Ducasse reflects Chef Hocquet’s culinary philosophy rooted in seasonal ingredients and a pursuit of perfection. Influenced by French tradition, his imaginative cooking seamlessly blends premium French products with local delicacies, crafting exceptional culinary creations.


Following this remarkable event, Rumari will continue with a second four-hand dinner on January 26 and 27, 2024. The spotlight will be on Chef Paulo Airaudo from the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Amelia in San Sebastian, Spain. Chef Airaudo’s innovative approach at Amelia combines traditional Italian cuisine with a distinctive Japanese touch, resulting in a one-of-a-kind “Italian Omakase” dining experience. This is created from the finest, fresh ingredients from the Basque Country and around the world, offering a unique blend of flavours and textures for guests.



With a commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences, Chef Gaetan Biesuz of Rumari will collaborate with the talented culinary teams of Blue by Alain Ducasse and Amelia to present exquisite degustation menus that reflect the finest in contemporary gastronomy through the upcoming editions of “Rumari and Friends.” The four-hand dinners will be an opportunity for guests to experience a culinary journey that transcends borders, blending a unique fusion of flavours, techniques, and artistic presentation, all within the enchanting ambiance of Rumari.
