Global travel risk intelligence company, Riskline, has announced a new partnership with Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel guidance platform. This collaboration is designed to equip travellers with timely, relevant information about potential risks and events that may impact their journeys while planning and/or in destination. 

Riskline operates 24/7, 365 days, providing travel insights in over 220 countries and territories, and more than 260 cities. Through this partnership, Tripadvisor will integrate Riskline’s insights to power up-to-date travel advisories and safety information worldwide. A combination of human expertise, AI, and open-source intelligence is used to deliver accurate, relevant, and actionable destination information categorized into themes, including natural and environmental, conflict, unrest, travel safety, and health and medical. 

As travellers seek more meaningful, personal, and adventurous experiences, expectations around safety and information have evolved. According to a 2026 GBTA poll, 56% of travel buyers identify traveller safety as a top priority this year, highlighting a growing emphasis on informed travel across both business and leisure. Today’s travel decisions are influenced by broader factors, including health risks, environmental conditions, and geopolitical developments, not just by delays and cancellations. By integrating Riskline data, Tripadvisor will enhance its platform to inform users about potential travel disruptions at high-risk destinations, empowering travellers to make more confident, better-informed travel decisions.
