Regent Hotels & Resorts partners with airberlin

Regent Hotels & Resorts has announced a new partnership with airberlin providing guests with additional advantages to staying at the deluxe properties including the five-star Regent Berlin and Regent Montenegro, due to open in summer 2014.

This partnership marks Regent Hotels & Resort’s eleventh airline collaboration.

Regent is the latest brand to partner with airberlin’s frequent flyer program, TopBonus, allowing members staying at Regent at eligible rates to receive 500 miles per stay.

In celebration of this new partnership, Regent will also be giving away double miles to TopBonus members who choose Regent as their “Preferred Partner”, allowing guests to earn up to 1,000 miles when staying at any of the Regent hotels in Bali, Beijing, Berlin, Phuket, Singapore, or Taipei from February 6th to April 30th, 2014.

airberlin is Germany’s second largest airline and Europe’s seventh largest airline in terms of passengers carried.

It operates an extensive network including holiday destinations in the Mediterranean region, the Madeira Islands, the Canary Islands and North Africa as well as intercontinental destinations in Southeast Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas.

A total of 25 German cities are served, more than any other airline, and its hubs are Berlin-Tegel Airport and Düsseldorf Airport.

The carrier offers flights from London Heathrow, London City, Gatwick and Stansted to Berlin.

“We are thrilled to be kicking off our eleventh airline collaboration and excited to be working with airberlin,” said Mark Lettenbichler, chief executive of Regent Hotels & Resorts.

“Our airline partnerships have been successful and we expect this venture with airberlin to offer the same calibre of benefits to our hotel guests.

“The collaboration will also allow Regent Porto Montenegro visitors to be eligible for extra miles when the property opens this summer.”
