Qantas introduces premium boarding

Qantas has introduced a new premium boarding lane for premium customers across its major domestic ports.

The premium boarding lane has been implemented in response to feedback from premium and top tier frequent fliers.

“From this month business class customers, Chairmans Lounge members, oneworld™ Emerald members and Platinum Frequent Flyers will have the option to use a dedicated lane when boarding Qantas flights in Perth with Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to follow shortly after,’ Qantas Executive Manager Customer Experience, Alison Webster said.

Qantas already offers a premium boarding service for premium customers and top tier Frequent Flyers on international services.

Qantas also today announced a new domestic business class fare structure providing customers with greater accessibility to an increased range of fares.

The new fare structure will be implemented for tickets booked from Wednesday 30 November, with revisions to existing price points and additional price points available from that date.

Qantas business class passengers enjoy the benefits of an extensive domestic lounge network featuring Neil Perry menus with contemporary and seasonal choices, island dining and access to Apple iMac technology.

Qantas also offers business class customers complimentary inflight entertainment, Neil Perry designed inflight menus, Faster, Smarter Check-in, priority security lanes and priority boarding lanes in key domestic ports. Qantas has commenced the introduction of luxury leather seating across the Business cabin on its new B737-800 fleet. Business class customers can also access Qantas Valet and meeting room services in key domestic ports.
