New leadership for The Waldorf Hilton London
Hilton hotels has announced the appointment of Guy Hilton as general manager of the 298 bedroom hotel in London’s vibrant West End, The Waldorf Hilton London.
Hilton’s role will be to lead his team to deliver exceptional service to guests and visitors.
He has been working with Hilton Worldwide for 13 years, having worked in Leeds, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Brighton before his move to The Waldorf.
Hilton’s first hotel based role in the UK was at Crowne and Raven Hotels in the Midlands where he worked in food and beverage before progressing to his first general manager role at the Royal Hotel in Llangollen.
On his new role at the hotel, Hilton said: ““I am delighted to be leading the team here at one of the most iconic hotels in London, The Waldorf Hilton.
“The hotel combines old-world charm with a modern touch, creating London experiences our guests can write home about.
“One of my key aims is to drive forward the food and beverage offering. We have already seen fantastic success with the launch of The Waldorf’s first pop-up bar, Homage Pop-Up, which we opened last month.”
Nestled on the verdant, tree-lined thoroughfare of Aldwych, The Waldorf Hilton opened in 1908 and is a Grade II listed building.
