Hastings Hotels has welcomed Michael Weston and Niall Burns, the new general manager and deputy general manager at the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa in Newcastle.

Weston has almost 20 years’ management experience in the hospitality industry and previously worked for Walt Disney World, the Mooney Hotel Group, Hilton Hotels and Radisson Hotel Group.

As general manager, he is responsible for leading the hotel team and the day-to-day management of the Slieve Donard Resort & Spa.

Burns has worked for Hastings Hotels for over eight.

He recently graduated from an executive management program through the IMI and Fáilte Ireland.

As deputy general manager, Burns will work closely with the Weston to assist in the day-to-day running of the hotel.
