MSC Cruises has confirmed it will return to Tunisia early next month, with the country “back to normal” after political unrest earlier this year.

MSC Fantasia and MSC Lirica, both operated by the organisation, will be calling at the Tunis port of La Goulette on July 5th.

“The country is back to normal, security is now stable and we are glad to offer our guests one of their favourite destinations,” declared MSC Cruises chief executive Pierfrancesco Vago.

“Tourism represents one of the biggest resources for this country’s economic revival and we are proud to be making our contribution.”

MSC Splendida and MSC Sinfonia are expected in Tunis on July 6th.
