Lufthansa Italia selected Lufthansa Systems’ comprehensive navigation data for their Flight Management System. The companies recently signed a contract for the use of Lido/FMS.

The FMS database from Lufthansa Systems contains all important route information including altitude and airport data for optimizing routes on board modern aircraft. The navigation data, which are based on global aeronautical information, are updated every 28 days according the AIRAC cycle and can be customized to specific routes and for the use in any type of aircraft. Lufthansa Systems can thus meet the requirements and needs of the airline at all times.

Lufthansa Italia and Lufthansa Systems have been cooperating for some time: the Milan-based airline uses the NetLine/Crew IT solution for crew planning, the EFB solution Lido/FlightBag and the Lido/eRouteManual navigation charts. The carrier serves a growing network of destinations in Italy and across Europe.
