Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau launch redesigned website

The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) launched a new website after embarking on a journey in 2011 to redesign LittleRock.com.  Aristotle, Inc., a national leader in online Destination Marketing (DMO), was hired to consult with LRCVB to develop a website with enhanced features that captures the attention of online users and provides clear calls to action.

“This website redesign project shows our commitment to maintaining a superior web presence,” Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) President and CEO, Gretchen Hall stated. “With the all new LittleRock.com website, the department will work to utilize the new advanced features of the website, increase our social media efforts, and increase our direct online marketing efforts.”

The new site offers an expanded photo gallery, customized trip planner, increased information, a virtual visitor information center, landing pages for niche audiences, advanced event calendar capabilities, a coupon and special promotion database, a deals and packages database, interactive maps, Spanish translation, a full media room, an online forms generator for creating surveys and special campaign correspondence and much more. There is also enhanced information about Little Rock history and unique/famous Little Rock people and attractions, expanded sample itineraries and the ability to create your own personalized itinerary.

To increase involvement with Little Rock hospitality partners, an interior page was created to offer a private login and provide internal communications from the LRVCB. A consistent, global navigation system was also developed for the site, as well as a unified content management system, making it easy for LRCVB to change images and content on an ongoing basis.

For mobile users, a mobile friendly website was developed to allow people to easily access basic information about lodging, dining, events & attraction options from the convenience of their mobile phone.
