Kirsty Lilley has been appointed as business development manager for Unique Vacations UK, an affiliate of the exclusive worldwide sales and marketing representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts.

Lilley joins as the company’s seventh business development manager, and will be covering the new area of Cheshire, Isle of Man, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and north Wales.

She joins the company from the Global Travel Group, where she was learning and development facilitator.

Prior to that, Lilley worked as a business development manager for AM Resorts.

The area of Cheshire, Clwyd, Derbyshire, east Yorkshire, Humberside, Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and west Yorkshire, previously managed by one business development manager, is now split between Kirsty Lilley and another Sandals business development manager, Tamzin Bishop.

Director of sales for Sandals and Beaches Resorts in the UK, Leah Marshall, said: “It is a really exciting time for Kirsty to join the business.

“Recent developments include upgrades at our flagship resort Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica and an ongoing focus on our over-the-water product with new bars and wedding chapels.

“Kirsty has had some great experience in the travel sector which will be invaluable to our business.

“The addition of Kirsty to the team means that we can split the areas in the north of England between Kirsty and Tamzin, in order to have a more dedicated focus in these areas.”
