lastminute.com founder Lane Fox joins Twitter board
Entrepreneur Martha Lane Fox, who co-founded travel website lastminute.com, has been appointed to join Twitter’s board of directors.
The appointment will be effective immediately following the news that Peter Chernin and Peter Currie will both step down.
Lane Fox co-founded lastminute.com in the dotcom boom of the early 2000s before selling her website to Sabre Holdings in 2005 for £577 million.
She has subsequently served on public service digital projects
Commenting on her appointment on her personal Twitter account, Lane Fox said it was the “best job ever”.
