Kempinski Hotels’ CEO becomes chairman of Advisory Board of World Tourism Forum

A prominent new member joins World Tourism Forum Lucerne: Reto Wittwer, CEO of Kempinski Hotels and an acknowledged expert in the field, takes over as Chairman of the Advisory Board.

In its efforts to become the leading international platform for established and future managers and experts in the tourism, travel and hotel sector, World Tourism Forum Lucerne is happy to report an important development. Martin Barth, General Manager of the Forum, has succeeded in finding another outstanding member to join the Advisory Board, which already has a number of top-class international individuals. The Board consists of 13 experts of the travel, tourism and hotel sector.

The new Chairman, Reto Wittwer, has over 30 years’ international experience in hospitality, and is one of the industry’s longest serving CEO’s. He was appointed President and CEO of the renowned Geneva-based Kempinski Hotels luxury hotel management group in 1995.

“I am delighted and honoured to accept my appointment as Chairman of the World Tourism Forum Lucerne’s Advisory Board”, explains Reto Wittwer.

The Forum will be held for the third time in the spring of 2013, from 17-19 April.
