Introducing Arcora Boutique Hotel & Villas in Finnish Lapland Fresh For The 2027 Arctic Season
Debuting for the 2027 Arctic season, Arcora Boutique Hotel & Villas will open this January in the lakeside village of Torassieppi, Muonio, north of the Arctic Circle.
Set on the edge of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, where reindeer have roamed for centuries and vast fells, forests and frozen lakes stretch beyond the horizon, Arcora introduces a new expression of luxury in Finnish Lapland - immersed in the raw beauty, cultural heritage and profound stillness of the Arctic.
The retreat will offer 59 boutique suites and Sky and Deluxe Villas, alongside a unique restaurant focused on the eight seasons of Lapland, artisan bakery, champagne bar, spa with traditional saunas and rooftop infinity pool, and a programme of curated Arctic experiences. With a private helipad on site, Arcora can be reached directly, allowing the journey to continue in guests’ own time and at their own pace. Every detail has been conceived to connect guests to the rhythms, landscapes and traditions of Lapland, positioning Arcora as one of the most distinctive luxury openings in the Nordics and setting a new benchmark for Arctic hospitality.
The PC Agency will represent Arcora Boutique Hotel & Villas across the UK and US markets, targeting high net worth travellers seeking a more meaningful and elevated luxury Lapland experience.
Pyry Talvensaari, CEO of Harriniva Hotels & Safaris, shares: “Arcora is the culmination of everything we have built and learned about Lapland over fifty years as a family business, its rhythms, its light, its extraordinary capacity to restore. We have always believed that this landscape deserves to be experienced slowly and with great care. We look forward to welcoming guests from around the world who are seeking something more meaningful than a luxury hotel - a place that leaves its mark long before you’re ready to leave.”

Paul Charles, Founder & CEO of The PC Agency, added: “Luxury travellers are increasingly seeking meaningful experiences rooted in place, and Arcora delivers this in an exceptional way. Combining refined hospitality with the extraordinary landscapes and culture of Finnish Lapland, Arcora is set to become one of the Nordic region’s most distinctive luxury openings - The PC Agency is delighted to be telling its story.”

Arcora’s collection of 59 suites and villas span four accommodation types, each designed to immerse guests in the Arctic landscape while enveloping them in quiet, considered luxury. Earth-toned materials, layered textures and wide, unobstructed views keep the changing Arctic sky present throughout each guest’s stay, from the Executive Suite Jussi with its scenic-view private sauna, to the Sky Villa Antti where a panoramic heated ceiling window frames the northern lights from bed, to the Deluxe Villa Jouni with its private outdoor jacuzzi, design fireplace and kitchenette. Nature is not outside, it is part of the experience.
At the heart of the experience is a compelling culinary concept: in Lapland, the year is not defined by four seasons, but by eight, each with its own rhythm, light, colour and flavour. Restaurant 8 brings this philosophy to life under the direction of Chef Arto Rastas, one of Finland’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs, a Maison Lanson Chef Ambassador and culinary figure with an international following. The Lobby Bar & Bakery anchors daily life at the hotel, from freshly baked bread in the morning through to Arctic Afternoon Tea and evening cocktails, while the Pyry Champagne Bar offers a carefully curated selection of champagnes above the Arctic treeline.

Wellness at Arcora is shaped around multi-sensory Nordic wellbeing. The spa, located on the top floor with open views across the fells, features a rooftop heated infinity pool, outdoor jacuzzi, three saunas, relaxation areas and a massage and treatment room. Beyond the hotel, Arcora’s curated adventure programme draws on the extraordinary landscape on its doorstep, from reindeer safaris and husky experiences to snowshoeing and snowmobiling through the fells of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.
Arcora is part of Harriniva Hotels & Safaris, a third-generation family company that has shaped adventure travel in Finnish Lapland since 1973. What began as a modest camping ground on the banks of Tornion-Muonionjoki, Europe’s longest free-flowing river, has grown into one of the region’s most celebrated travel groups. Arcora represents the group’s most ambitious chapter yet, a premium, design-led retreat that brings a new dimension of luxury to a landscape that the Harriniva family has called home for half a century.
As global demand grows for transformative, experience-led travel, Arcora arrives at a defining moment for luxury hospitality in the Nordics. More than a hotel, it offers a rare opportunity to experience the Arctic through a lens of authenticity, stillness and deeply considered luxury - setting a new benchmark for Finnish Lapland on the world stage.
