The hotel is set to be the destination of choice for both well-travelled visitors and residents, adding 302 rooms and 58 suites to Qatar’s growing hospitality sector. In addition the 176 luxurious Residence Suites will include a range of one to four bedroom apartments.

InterContinental Doha The City offers six restaurants and two lounges. Strata on levels 55 and 56 will be Doha’s highest restaurant with superb views and an unparalleled chilled seafood menu; Nai will offer traditional Lebanese cuisine and Prime is the city’s new destination for meat-lovers. The Square will be an eclectic all-day dining restaurant with interactive cooking stations; Criollo will offer handmade chocolate treats; the Lobby Lounge will provide light snacks and drinks; and Hive is set to become one of Doha’s most stylish lounges.

The new hotel will also feature the InterContinental Concierge lounge, which enables guests to discover the hidden gems of Qatar based on recommendations of the concierge team, who are expertly versed on authentic local knowledge. InterContinental Doha The City’s events centre will offer unrivalled facilities catering to all size of events, with a 1,015 square-metre pillarless ballroom, accommodating up to 950 guests, four meeting rooms and a business centre.

Other highlights include the exclusive Club InterContinental lounge on level 45 with an enviable east-facing view of West Bay. The lounge is a place for Club InterContinental guests to conduct meetings or simply relax while enjoying complimentary amenities, including WIFI, a business centre and a private boardroom. Leisure facilities include a rooftop swimming pool overlooking Doha’s skyline, a health and fitness club, steam and sauna rooms and male and female whirlpools.
