In 2010 ibis launches the Web Corner

The “ibis Web Corner”, which the brand began rolling out during the first half of 2010, supplements its Wi-Fi offer by making cutting-edge computer hardware available to customers in a dedicated area.

Digital e-cards

The “ibis Web Corner” is easy to use. Customers can access the main functions from the home page: office automation, Internet and airline check-in. The tool offers free browsing on the web and access to the ibis e-card application. This service enables web users to send digital cards to their loved ones, along with a message, a photo or a video.

Finally, the brand offers unlimited access to the webcam and the use of Skype Messenger, to allow guests to stay in constant contact with their families.

In France, ibis plans to roll out nearly 300 “Ibis Web Corners” by the end of the year. The system is also being introduced abroad, with installations slated this summer in Brazil, Thailand and Poland.
