HRG awarded contract for Central Government Travel Management Services

Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate services company and one of the world’s leading travel management companies, has been awarded Lot 1 of the UK Central Government travel management business.  The contract represents those Departments who have a pre dominance in International travel, namely the Ministry of Defence, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department for International Development, the Cabinet Office, the Department for Energy and Climate Change, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and HM Treasury.

David Radcliffe, Chief Executive at HRG, comments: “This has been one of the most professional and thorough processes we have ever been involved with and we are therefore particularly delighted with the award.  In addition to retaining the total travel capability of the three departments we currently service, we have won new business from a further four Central Departments.

“Everyone at HRG is justly proud of our achievements as the appointment presents us with the opportunity to deliver real value benefits as well as the ongoing identification and deliverance of efficiencies and savings to more areas within Central Government.  It is a real acknowledgement of our talent, experience and knowledge and demonstrates our client focus, relationships and commitment to excellence whilst also highlighting our thorough understanding of Government needs in today’s challenging economic environment.”

Mr Radcliffe concludes: “Not only does this appointment present an opportunity for these departments to realise value benefits but also for the ongoing identification and deliverance of efficiencies and savings.”
