HRG announces new partner in Peru

Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate services company, has announced the appointment of Diners Travel as its new partner in Peru.  The company will trade as HRG Peru and will support HRG’s clients with dedicated local and regional expertise.

Diners Travel was established in 1975 and has two offices in Lima, employing 28 staff.  The company provides a full travel management service for clients in all sectors including banking, pharmaceutical, construction, mining and retails sectors amongst others.

Keith Burgess, General Counsel and Central Services Director at HRG, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Diners Travel to the HRG worldwide network.  Their considerable local understanding together with an experienced Management Team, in-depth knowledge of the local market and excellent supplier relations will ensure HRG’s clients have access to the best service possible in Peru.

“There is a lot of excitement about the burgeoning corporate travel market in Peru.  The country has benefited from a stable political and economic situation, leading to growth of 6.4% per year since 2002.  Peru’s convenient location is also a factor in its emergence as a business travel hub, and connectivity to the region is improving consistently.  Airlines LAN and Avianca-Taca both use Lima as a hub.”

Monica Moreia, General Manager of HRG Peru, said: “Being part of HRG’s global network makes HRG Peru a stronger travel management company in the local market.  The HRG network, with its proven expertise, significantly enhances our capability to service our customers and upgrade our product offerings.  This capability will be substantial for our local clients in Peru, and we look forward to offering HRG’s global clients a very stylish and unique service.”
