Hilton London Metropole unveils newly refurbished meeting rooms

Hilton London Metropole conference hotel, one of the largest conference hotels un the UK and Europe, has undergone a £750,000 full refurbishment of the hotel’s meeting facilities.

Hilton London Metropole’s seventeen meeting rooms, business centre and breakout area have been transformed into sleek modern spaces that include all the latest in audio visual technology. The hotel boasts two large conference suites each with the capacity to hold 1,600 people and a third theatre style suite which caters to 1,000.

Avner On, Hilton London Metropole general manager, said, “Hilton London Metropole continues to offer our meeting and conference delegates the best possible experience when hosting or attending an event at the hotel and this refurbishment stands to improve this experience further still.”

The meeting rooms have been given a breath of fresh air with a contemporary and light design and stylish but functional soft furnishings, ideal for a constructive working environment. A flexible working area, the meeting rooms offer table mounted sockets and ceiling mounted automated drop down screens. Digital meeting schedule screens have been incorporated into the foyer and meeting rooms to ensure events are even more seamless. Hilton London Metropole meeting rooms can be used separately or linked together in a wide range of configurations and also benefit from the resources of their own dedicated Business Centre.

Hilton London Metropole is conveniently located outside of the congestion charge zone but only 10 minutes’ walk to London’s West End and situated only 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport via the Heathrow Express at Paddington Station. The hotel boasts two restaurants, a sports bar and a café, including Fiamma, which offers international cuisine with a Mediterranean flavour and Minako which combines breathtaking views from its 23rdfloor location and an Asian fusion menu. The hotel also recently completed a refurbishment of its Superior bedrooms which have been designed with the business traveller in mind and include a flexible working area, separate relaxation corner, chaise longue and coffee table, for the perfect balance of work and rest space.
