Hilton Hotels & Resorts opens second Hotel In Guangzhou, China

Hilton Hotels & Resorts today announced the opening of its third new hotel in China in less than two months. Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun, owned by the Wanda Group and located as part of Wanda Plaza at Baiyun New Town, features a contemporary style with 313 spacious and well-appointed guest rooms and suites, and six dining concepts to satisfy the most discerning guests. It is the second Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Guangzhou, following the opening of Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe earlier this month.

Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun is a 20-minute drive from the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Pazhou International Convention Centre, and a few minutes’ drive away from the Baiyun Convention Center, Guangzhou train station and Guangzhou Central Business District. Its location in Wanda Plaza means that guests also have access to a high-end shopping mall, cinemas and entertainment facilities. Parks, museums and sightseeing attractions are also a short taxi ride away.

“With its convenient location, modern guest rooms and meeting space, and food and beverage choices, Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun is set to become a unique destination and will firmly establish itself amongst Hilton Worldwide’s fast growing portfolio of properties in China,” said Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide.

The hotel’s portfolio of meeting and banquet space includes a 1,500-square meter, pillar-less Grand Ballroom, nine function rooms, two VIP greeting rooms and a bridal room - totaling 3,220 square meters located on the second floor.

Guest rooms are located from the fourth to eighth floors, each reflecting a contemporary style composed of attractive colors and rich woods. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring natural light to the room, and offer scenic mountain or city views. The latest technology, including broadband, is featured in all rooms with wireless Internet access available throughout public areas.

While Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun offers a landmark venue for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions markets, it will also be recognized by our loyal leisure guests for our signature brand of Hilton hospitality,” said Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotel & Resorts brand.
