Luxury Escapes has appointed Graham Hills as its new head of Asia as the company looks to strengthen its presence across the region.
Hills will be based in the company’s regional office in Singapore.
With almost two decades of industry experience, he was most recently chief commercial officer at BeMyGuest, one of Asia’s leading distributors of tours and activities.
Prior to that, he spent six and a half years at travel meta search company Wego, with roles in Jakarta and Singapore.
He also spent six years at Tourism Western Australia in the online marketing team in Perth, before moving to Singapore in late 2007.
“Graham joins us at an exciting time for our business.
“We have built a strong base in Asia since our launch in 2017 and Graham’s role is to spearhead our regional growth strategy and launch Luxury Escapes in new markets.
“With his wealth of commercial experience and regional knowledge, I’m confident he will be able to take our brand to the next level,” said Cameron Holland, chief executive, Luxury Escapes.
Luxury Escapes is one of Asia Pacific’s fastest growing travel brands with nearly 2.6 million travellers.
This year over 500,000 travellers will travel with Luxury Escapes.
In Asia, the company has launched dedicated sites in 13 countries, with Singapore and Hong Kong being its biggest markets.
“It’s a great, well-timed opportunity to join Luxury Escapes.
“As a brand that makes luxury travel affordable and accessible, Luxury Escapes is strongly positioned to change the way Asians travel.
“I am excited to further localise and tailor our offers to the unique needs of our customers in Asia,” added Hills on his appointment.
