GHM has confirmed it is terminating its management contract with The Saujana and The Club at The Saujana effective 1 March 2010. GHM has been operating The Saujana since it was rebranded in May 2005 and The Club at The Saujana since opening in September 2008.
Set in 160 hectares of lush tropical gardens and fringed by the two 18-hole championship golf courses of the Saujana Golf & Country Club, The Club at The Saujana features some of the most luxurious hotel accommodation in Kuala Lumpur including 105 spacious rooms and suites whilst The Saujana, located adjacent, features 210 stylish rooms and suites in a low-rise setting. In 2009, The Club at The Saujana was named on Conde Nast Traveller’s annual ‘Hot List’ as one of the best hotels in the world.
The culinary highlight is The Restaurant at The Club at The Saujana which is set in intimate and private surroundings overlooking the lush greenery and soothing water feature. The Restaurant is open to non–residents and is widely considered as one of the best restaurants in Kuala Lumpur enticing diners with an a la carte selection of Western dishes and Asian delights from the kitchen of Executive Chef, Nancy Kinchela.
Just 30 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre and 35 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the hotels were uniquely designed to offer business and leisure travelers an exclusive urban retreat.
A recent addition to the extensive facilities at The Saujana is The Spa and Med Beauty. While The Spa offers holistic treatments and healing traditions of the East, Med Beauty presents what it calls “breakthrough technology in skin care treatment” from Switzerland. Set in a tropical rainforest landscape, The Spa and Med Beauty at The Saujana features six single spa villas, two double spa villas, two beauty studios, a spa boutique and four Med Beauty treatment rooms.
“GHM has had a long and fruitful association with the owners of The Saujana and The Club at The Saujana for a number of years and remains supportive to their success. The property owners will take over management of the properties, as was always originally planned, as their expansion plans get underway” said Mr Hans Jenni, Director and President for GHM.
GHM currently manages 10 properties in 8 countries with expansion plans underway across Asia, Europe and America.
