Emirates’ A380 Draws Prominent Guests and Trade Visitors at ILA Berlin 2024
At the ILA Berlin 2024, Emirates hosted a distinguished lineup of guests, including Dr. Volker Wissing, Federal Minister for Digital and Transport, and Dr. Robert Habeck, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, among others, at its Emirates A380 static display. The delegation was formally greeted by Volker Greiner, Emirates Vice President North & Central Europe.
Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, Emirates will operate a positioning flight from Berlin to Dubai on Monday using blended fuel containing neat Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), further highlighting the airline’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
Returning with its four-class A380 aircraft on static display for the entire duration of the event, from June 5 to 9, Emirates reaffirms its enduring commitment to ILA Berlin, the premier aerospace exhibition in the EU. The Emirates A380, the largest aircraft at the show, stands as the sole Airbus A380 featured at the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport.
Emirates’ presence at ILA Berlin dates back to 2010, underscoring its longstanding dedication to the German and European markets. With a history spanning over three decades, Emirates has established itself as a vital player in the region’s aviation landscape, fostering connectivity, strategic partnerships, and mutual benefits. Germany holds a special significance for Emirates, being one of its most important markets for over 35 years.
