easyJet launches new route to Sharm el Sheikh
easyJet will begin flying on the longer routes of Marrakech and Sharm el Sheikh as well as Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria as part of its new 2013 route launches from London Stansted Airport. easyJet will also move a larger A320 aircraft to Stansted which will have 180 seats onboard.
The airline will fly year-round flights to Marrakech three times a week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the inaugural flight taking off on 15 February 2013.
easyJet will also operate a year-round twice weekly service to Sharm el Sheikh from Stansted Airport on a Thursday and Sunday with the first flight taking off on 17 February 2013. The new Sofia route will operate twice a week on a Tuesday and Saturday and the first flight on the 16 February 2013.

“Currently, easyJet operates two mid-haul routes from Stansted to Bodrum and Dalaman so today’s announcement shows a real commitment to offering more varied destinations further afield, and the best value for our passengers.”
