Cunard guests ‘Feel Famous’ aboard the most famous ocean liners in the world

Cunard rolls out the red carpet with special voyage offers, a Transatlantic Crossing sweepstakes and an invitation to sail Cunard and feel famous.

For Cunard and their guests, the superlative The Most Famous Ocean Liners in the World has distinction and meaning far beyond the notoriety of the line’s famous fleet of Queens. It’s how the venerable company strives to make each guest feel throughout every voyage aboard flagship Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

For the new FEEL FAMOUS. SAIL CUNARD. campaign, the storied cruise vacation company is rolling out the red carpet with a variety of compelling offers and an epic cinematic video that is sure to engage the most stalwart land vacationer to consider a voyage with Cunard.

The excitement of this new campaign begins at FeelFamousCunard.com where consumers can view the streaming video, explore Feel Famous Fares, and register to win a Transatlantic Crossing aboard Queen Mary 2 in the Feel Famous Sweepstakes – just a few of the enticing messages showcasing the line’s distinctive ocean liner experience.

Also on tap are new brochures and a newly re-mastered Legendary Liners, Unforgettable Voyages DVD scored to cinematic music presenting a spectrum of ways in which consumers will receive the royal treatment and feel famous aboard a Cunard Queen. Dressing up, always “de rigeur” aboard a Cunard liner, is as popular as ever, as evidenced by a recent survey, “Getting Decked Out: Attitudes about Dressing Up.” Commissioned by Cunard, the online survey measured the attitudes of 1,500 U.S. residents about dressing up and revealed that more than half of the respondents enjoy dressing up five times or more each year. Similarly, nearly 60 percent of those surveyed said they would like to have more opportunities to dress up. Respondents indicated that dressing up made them feel “attractive,” “sophisticated” and “elegant” and much to the delight of Cunard, dressing up on a cruise vacation is favored over a land vacation.

“For those who savour the sense of occasion to dress up and ‘feel famous,’ a Cunard voyage offers modernly classic elegance and style with glamourous evenings at Royal Nights themed balls, coupled with gourmet dining in grand ocean liner style,” said Peter Shanks, president of Cunard Line. “Impeccable White Star Service provides quintessential pampering to make guests ‘feel famous’ each and every day.”

Feel Famous Fares

Aboard a Cunard voyage, guests just might travel with some of the world’s most well-known luminaries, and experience entertainment and leisurely pursuits thought only to have been available to a very few. From iconic singer-songwriter James Taylor, global peacemaker Archbishop Desmond Tutu and comedic genius John Cleese, to publishing power couple Tina Brown and Sir Harold Evans, actress Uma Thurman and singer Carly Simon, Cunard guests are able to meet some of today’s most famous personalities.

Guests can enjoy a private viewing box in the Royal Court Theatre, learn the dashing art of fencing aboard Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, and dance nightly to a live orchestra in the Queens Room across the fleet.
