In response to the attacks on the US Embassy in Egypt on September 11, CruiseReport.com will no longer display cruise information for sailings in Egypt. Primarily, this affects Nile river sailings on river cruises.

“We are disgusted by the actions of some in Egypt who stormed the US Embassy and desecrated the American Flag on the day when Americans were mourning their dead from the 9/11 attacks.” says Chris Dikmen, President of CruiseReport.com. “We are not going to contribute our resources to promote travel to a country that shows such disrespect to America.”

CruiseReport.com also considers Egypt to be an unsafe destination for Americans at this time and encourages its members to seek alternative destinations.

Effectively immediately, all sailings and itineraries in Egypt will be removed from the CruiseReport.com website until further notice.
