Celebrity Cruises has appointed Zoe Edwards to the role of strategic account manager, following the recent promotion of Nicola McNeish to head of sales.

Edwards will report to director of sales, Claire Stirrup.

In her new role Edwards will work alongside McNeish to manage and deliver strategic support for the TCCT and TUI accounts.

Edwards brings with her over 18 years of travel experience having previously held multiple roles within Thomas Cook working across commercial, yield and sales.

She has worked within the cruise team at Thomas Cook since May 2012, most recently in the position of senior cruise partnership manager.

Claire Stirrup, director of sales, commented: “Zoe’s appointment is the latest exciting development in the growth of our team.

“She brings a wealth of knowledge and significant experience that I know will be a huge asset both for our team and our national accounts.

“Ahead of the launch of Celebrity Edge it is an exciting time for Celebrity Cruises and we look forward to continuing to work with all our partners with an expert team in place to continue to offer support and guidance.” 

The Celebrity Cruises UK and Ireland sales team and all trade partners are also assisted by an office-based trading team and trade marketing manager.

In addition to providing tools to aid sales, the team also delivers important information on offers, campaigns and new products and services to boost the efficiency of agent partners.
