Cape Verde welcomes first adults-only hotel

Cape Verde has seen the soft launch of its first adult-only hotel and luxury beach club, Bikini Beach.

Developed by the luxury resort hospitality company The Resort Group, the hotels will welcome the first guests on December 18th.

Located on the white sands of the island of Sal, Cape Verde, the new developments offer total bliss and relaxation.

Guests can choose to stay in one of two adult-only hotels, Sensimar Cabo Verde by TUI and Melia Llana Beach Hotel.

Both offer a stunning range of hotel suites, tropical pools and rejuvenating spa facilities.

Visitors can expect impeccable service, stylish eateries and exquisite resort facilities, all set against the backdrop of stunning beaches and tropical gardens.

TRG has invested €70 million into the development of the two hotels and a further €3 million into Bikini Beach.

The two hotels have over 600 suites and can welcome 43,873 tourists per year, creating approximately 500 jobs locally.

Bikini Beach is the group’s new beach club brand and the first luxury beach club to open in Cape Verde.

Featuring a restaurant, two distinct bars and a 95m2 pool, the club boasts unrivalled views of the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for all day entertainment.

Added to this is the club’s Heaven VIP area, situated on the second floor with its own private Champagne and Sushi Bar.

Located at the end of Llana Beach, Bikini Beach is easily accessible from the surrounding resorts, and guests can also arrive by boat via the manmade pontoon.

The Bikini Beach events calendar will bring high profile DJs, the very best local entertainment and unforgettable parties all year-round.

The club is the perfect venue combining music, dining and entertainment into one.

Rob Jarrett, chief executive, The Resort Group, said: “Sensimar Cabo Verde, Melia Llana Beach Hotel and Bikini Beach Club will elevate the guest experience in Cape Verde to a new level of excellence.

“With these latest additions, the resorts on Cape Verde’s Island of Sal offer something for everyone, from family holidays to a couple’s getaway or a week away with friends.”
