Budget Car Rental has significantly increased its European footprint this year, opening more than 200 new locations in the region.
The expansion promises to give consumers more choice for great value car hire at key European destinations.
In France, Budget nearly tripled its number of rental facilities by opening 208 new locations, including Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.
In Italy, five new locations have been opened at popular destinations, including sites in Bologna, Milan and Rome.
“The opening of the new Budget locations in France and Italy shows our continued commitment to providing business and leisure travellers with convenient facilities, quality, well-maintained vehicles and excellent service,” said Mark Servodidio, managing director, Europe, Avis Budget Group.
“In fact, in less than two years, we have opened nearly 400 new locations to meet the growing demand for car hire in Europe’s leading business and holiday travel destinations.”
This recent expansion builds upon Budget’s strong presence in Europe, which includes the United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, Spain and The Netherlands.
The Budget fleet consists of vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
Customers also benefit from an array of optional products and services, including global positioning system navigation devices, child safety seats, vehicle damage coverage options and personal property protection packages.
