According to TripAdvisor’s “Travelers’ Choice Awards,” Couples Negril and Couples Sans Souci rank among the best on consumers’ lists for luxury.
Only three hotels in Jamaica made the “Top 100 Luxury - World” list, and two of them are Couples Resorts.  Also, in a ranking of all hotels in the Caribbean, Couples Negril and Couples Sans Souci rank #5 and #8 respectively on the “Top 10 Luxury - Caribbean” list.

Couples Negril was also ranked among the top 10 best bargains in the Caribbean.

Chief Romance Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Randy Russell commented: “Consumers are saying that if they could pick any resort in Jamaica, or in the world for that matter, Couples would be among the top on their wish list.”

Recipients are chosen based on the opinions of real travelers - millions of reviews and opinions posted online are used to determine the winners and their ranking.

According to TripAdvisor’s website, “The TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice award winners for 2005 were determined by a combination of TripAdvisor’s Popularity Index and traveler ratings of specific attributes. TripAdvisor’s Popularity Index is a proprietary algorithm that determines traveler satisfaction based on a variety of sources, including TripAdvisor hotel reviews and travel articles and opinions found throughout the web. TripAdvisor recently added ratings to the hotel review process, allowing travelers to “grade” hotels based on a variety of attributes, including cleanliness, value and suitability for specific types of travelers.”
