Marriott re-flags Winston-Salem hotel
Marriott International
announced today that the Adam’s Mark hotel in Winston-Salem, N.C.
has been re-flagged as the Winston-Salem Marriott. Located at 425 North
Cherry Street, the 315-room hotel recently completed a comprehensive $20
million conversion. The property is owned and operated by Noble Investment
Group.“We’re very excited to be part of the Marriott family of hotels, and we
look forward to welcoming our past guests and introducing new visitors to this
wonderful hotel,” said Beryl Rice, general manager, Winston-Salem Marriott.
The Winston-Salem Marriott recently underwent an extensive conversion to
its public space, meeting rooms, and signature restaurant, WS Prime. Guest
rooms have also been completely refurbished and now feature Marriott’s new,
luxurious bedding with plush mattresses, soft sheets and multiple pillows.
Replacing the traditional hotel bedspread is a down comforter nestled inside
sheeted duvets, which will be freshly laundered for each new guest. The
bedding features 300-thread-count, cotton-rich, white top and fitted bottom
sheets, which are among the finest and softest sheets of any global hotel
chain. The stylized bedding is accented with euro shams, a decorative bed
scarf and a bolster. Other in-room amenities include Bath & Body Works
products, coffee maker, microwave, iron with ironing board, in-room safe,
high-speed wireless internet via WiFi and cable TV with premium channels.
Centrally located in downtown Winston-Salem, the hotel is within the
city’s Downtown Arts District where guests can experience the area’s rich
culture, participate in seasonal music festivals and enjoy art galleries,
unique dining outlets, shopping and entertainment venues. Other nearby
attractions include historic Old Salem, North Carolina School of Arts,
Tanglewood Park championship golf course, and numerous boutique wineries in
the Yadkin Valley. Piedmont Triad International Airport is 20 minutes away.
