Eos, the first premium airline
serving transatlantic business travelers, today announced the appointment of
David S. Pottruck as non-executive Chairman effective immediately.  Mr.
Pottruck is Managing Director of The Pottruck Group, a San Francisco private
equity firm.  Mr. Pottruck also serves as a Senior Fellow in the Wharton
School of Business Center for Leadership and Change Management and is a
Director of Intel.  In July of 2004, Mr. Pottruck resigned after a
20-year career having served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a
member of the Board of the Charles Schwab Corporation.In making the announcement, Dave Spurlock, Eos Chief Executive Officer
said, “We are very pleased that Dave has agreed to become our Chairman.  In
particular we welcome his management experience to the Board of Directors.  We
also know we will benefit from Dave’s deep experience leading a
customer-centric business that created a new path while competing with highly
entrenched competitors.”
