Company Launches to take Baggage Hassles Out of Travelling

flymycase.com is the latest company to offer to deliver passengers’ bags to the airport for them. This new low-cost service is aimed at travellers who are tired of lugging their luggage and the prospect of losing it.
flymycase.com picks up luggage from passengers’ home or office before departure and ensures it’s waiting at the hotel or villa. The service has been carefully priced as a budget service with costs from just £59 to Europe.

Check-in is cut by up to 40 minutes each way, plus extra time saved waiting at the carousel. Bookings are made online at www.flymycase.com, when customers are provided with a unique tracking number, enabling them to follow the progress of their luggage in real time on the website. This is made possible because, unlike airlines, flymycase.com scans items a minimum of six times during transit.

Flymycase.com follows in the success of parent company, First Luggage, which launched last July in Europe and since expanded to serve North America, the Caribbean, Hong Kong and Dubai. This luxury end service has secured partners with Virgin Atlantic, Sandy Lane Hotel, Abercrombie & Kent, Crystal Cruises and Joan Collins as an official ambassador. First Luggage prices are per item, not weight, and travellers are updated on their luggage’s progress via text message.

The low cost alternative, flymycase.com, charges an extra £5 per kg if a suitcase exceeds 15kg and travellers will not be updated via text message but may monitor full progress on the internet. There is also reduction in cost depending on the number of cases booked in - from 5% discount if two cases are booked, progressively increasing to 20% discount for five cases or more.
