Continental Airlines has appointed Stephen Craven as its Head of
Corporate Sales for the United Kingdom, with immediate effect.  Craven
will be based at the airline’s U.K. & Ireland head office in Horley,
Surrey.In his new role Craven, 43, will oversee key agency relationships as
well as exploring corporate opportunities nationwide to support
Continental’s continued growth in the London and regional markets. 

“I am delighted to have Stephen take on this new role as we continue our
U.K. expansion,” said Bob Schumacher, the airline’s Senior Director U.K.
& Ireland.  “Our new Bristol and Belfast routes consolidate our status
as the leading airline between the U.K. and the U.S.A. in terms of the
number of U.K. cities served.  We continue to hear from the corporate
world their preference for travelling from local airports.  Stephen will
be confirming that offer to them.” 

Craven previously held the position of Sales Manager Scotland, having
joined Continental in 1998.  Prior to that, he was employed by bmi for
10 years as Regional Sales Manager - Scotland.
