US Airways Expands St. Louis Schedule
US Airways will expand
its St. Louis flight schedule March 31, and April 1, 4, and 5, 2005, to
accommodate thousands of basketball fans expected to attend the 2005
NCAA championship games. US Airways will expand its six daily Charlotte-St. Louis service with
larger 70-seat regional jet (RJ) aircraft on most flights throughout the
weekend, including three additional inbound flights on March 31, and April
1 and 4, as well as three additional outbound flights on April 1 and 5.
The airline will operate two additional inbound flights on April 5, and
two additional outbound flights on March 31 and April 4, also using larger
RJs.
In addition, US Airways will operate up to two extra nonstop roundtrip
flights using additional 50-seat regional jet aircraft between St. Louis
and both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on March 31, April 1, 4, and 5.
US Airways and US Airways Express operate 14 daily nonstop roundtrip
flights at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, with six daily flights
to Charlotte, N.C., and four daily each to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
