Noble House Hotels & Resorts Appoints New Management Team
SANTA FE, NM - (March 14, 2005) - Noble House Hotels & Resorts, owner
of the Inn and Spa at Loretto, located in the heart of Santa Fe, has
appointed a new management team for the acclaimed property. Noble
House, which has owned the Inn and Spa at Loretto since 1996, has
appointed a new General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing and
Executive Chef.
Glenn Bishop has been appointed general manager of the Inn and Spa at
Loretto. Mr. Bishop is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day
management and operations at the 135-room hotel. Bishop joins the Inn
and Spa at Loretto from a sister Noble House property, The Portofino
Hotel & Yacht Club in Redondo Beach, California, where he began as
corporate engineer for Noble House in 1996, and then served as general manager for the past five years. Prior to joining Noble House, Bishop
worked at La Casa Del Zorro Resort in San Diego and the Loews Santa
Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, both in California, and the Loews
Ventana Canyon Resort and the Sheraton El Conquistador Hotel & Resort,
both in Tucson, Arizona.
A new resident in Santa Fe, Mr. Bishop was very active in the Redondo
Beach community, serving as chairman of the board for the Chamber, and
was involved in numerous community, tourism and service
organizations. Mr. Bishop is married with two grown daughters, and
enjoys golf, cycling, skiing and volunteer work.
Jeannene Glenn has been appointed director of sales & marketing of the
Inn and Spa at Loretto. Ms. Glenn is responsible for managing all
aspects of the sales and marketing department, including corporate and
leisure sales, marketing, advertising, and catering. Re-joining Noble
House, Ms. Glenn most recently served as director of sales at The
Mansion on Turtle Creek & Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas. Prior to
that, she was director of sales & marketing for Noble House’s The
Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club in Redondo Beach, California, where she
worked under Bishop. Glenn’s experience prior to joining Noble House
includes sales manager positions at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in
Universal City, California and the Sheraton Country Club Plaza in
Kansas City, Missouri.
Ms. Glenn holds attended the University of Kansas where she earned a
B.A. in Political Science. She enjoys golf, travel and the arts.
David Wilson has been appointed executive chef of the Inn and Spa at
Loretto and its heralded new restaurant BALEENsantafe. Chef Wilson is
responsible for the culinary operations of the restaurant, with a
focus on food quality, excellent service standards and kitchen
organization. Chef Wilson joins the Inn and Spa at Loretto from The
Edgewater in Seattle, a sister Noble House hotel, where he served as
executive sous chef at the hotel’s 6/7 waterside restaurant. Prior to
joining Noble House, Chef Wilson held executive sous chef positions at
Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio in San Francisco, California and at The City
Grill in Austin, Texas. Chef Wilson completed an apprenticeship with
the American Culinary Federation where he was also certified a
‘working chef.’ Chef Wilson recently won first place in the Souper
Bowl Santa Fe 2005 for ‘Best Seafood Soup.’
