Brussels, January 2005—Rezidor SAS Hospitality, the international multi-brand hotel management company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Birgit Borreck as director of corporate communications.Reporting directly to Kurt Ritter, president & CEO of Rezidor SAS, Borreck’s main focus will be the development and implementation of public relations strategy for Rezidor SAS and its brands.Ê She will be based at the Rezidor SAS head office in Brussels.

Borreck brings more than 15 years of tourism and hospitality industry public relations experience to Rezidor SAS Hospitality.Ê She began her career in 1989, when she joined Dorint Hotels and Resorts in Mönchengladbach, Germany, where she was appointed director of press and public relations in 1992. In 2003, Borreck joined Maritim Hotelgesellschaft, where she was director of corporate communications until the end of 2004.

Borreck holds a degree in economics with a concentration in marketing from the University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz, and speaks German and English.
