The Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) is set to host agent training evenings in Jersey and Guernsey later this month, bringing a taste of the Caribbean to the Channel Islands.ÊThe free events are open to all travel agents on the islands and feature an introduction to the Caribbean region, presentations by a range of individual properties and destinations, and a Caribbean Buffet. The evening opens at 6pm with Caribbean Cocktails and registration, and ends by 10pm.

Julia Hendry, Director of Marketing CTO UK & Europe, said “The CTO evenings are designed to help agents get to know the Caribbean region in more detail and to give them the knowledge they need to sell it with confidence.”

“This is an ideal opportunity for the CTO to declare the Caribbean ‘open for business’ and answer any questions agents might have in light of recent events,” she added.
