Worldwide lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International, has unveiled a new look as well as enhanced navigation and search functionality for its proprietary Web site,
The new site offers consolidated navigation that makes it easier for travelers to move around the site, as well as enhanced search functionality and online profiling designed to help customers find and book a hotel more quickly and easily.

“Our consistent objective in the management of is to make it the most effective and most user-friendly lodging site on the Internet,” said Mary Beth Knight, vice president, e-commerce for Choice Hotels. “These latest enhancements to’s design and functionality are only the beginning of a total site transformation - a process that, when completed, will optimize the value of the site for Choice Hotels’ franchisees and their guests.”

New navigation bars on, located at the top and bottom of each page, enable customers to access the main features of the site. Hotel searches, customer service, and special sections for travel professionals and meetings/groups planners, as well as information on rewards programs, special offers, franchise opportunities and investment opportunities, can now be accessed from any page of the site.

Enhanced search functionality allows visitors to search for hotels by city, using a “Quick Search” function. Advanced Search options - hotels near airports, points of interest, military installations, and more - are also available.

The search results page features several new enhancements, including the ability to sort hotels based on distance, brand, rate or points of interest. Rate ranges, hotel amenities and hotel photos have also been added to every hotel listing.


And visitors to can create an online profile that welcomes them back each time they visit the site and automatically completes their registration forms. Members of Choice Privileges, Choice Hotels’ guest rewards program, who create online profiles will be able to access account balances and view their last five stays.

In addition to these latest enhancements to, Choice Hotels has recently entered into direct online distribution partnerships with, and Travelers searching for hotels on these prominent online hotel directory sites can now make a reservation using the booking engine.
