Dates Announced for ISPA Suspended by SARS


The International Spa Association Asia Pacific Conference 2003, postponed due to the outbreak of SARS, is now set to take place from August 29th-31st 2003, following advice from WHO travel advisory.
 


Since the panic created by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) disease has spread all over the world, according to the information posted on World Health Organisation (WHO), there are 19 probable cases and 0 death toll by which indicates the disease is under good control in Taiwan. 


The ISPA conference will be held at the same venue, TICC, and the exhibition looks set to create the best sales record in ISPA conference history. Over 95% of the exhibitors, speakers, and sponsors are in favour of the postponement. 


Shenyn Wang, Chair of ISPA Asia Pacific Conference 2003 Organising Committee, said, “We believe the conference in August will make it a great success. The industry’s support is highly appreciated and we are looking forward to welcoming international spa professional to ISPA Asia Pacific Conference 2003 in August”.
