eJets.com and Executive Airlines To Merge

Executive Airlines Inc. Thursday announced its plans to merge with eJets.com to form a national executive airline company utilizing a fleet of mid-size private jets.
Together, the companies plan to build the world`s first executive airline company that will cater to the growing demand for private jets and personalized travel. The fleet of private jets is expected to come from one manufacturer and be configured specifically for Executive Airlines.

, a leader in real-time Internet reservation technology for private aircraft, will provide the technology for the Executive Airlines operations centre. Three former Morris Air executives founded Executive Airlines. Morris Air, a Utah-based company founded in 1984, pioneered the ticketless reservation system. Morris Air was sold to Southwest Airlines in 1993.
Executive Airlines and eJets have entered into a binding letter of intent and expect a final agreement to be reached by year-end.
