Best Western welcomes six new hotels into the group

The new hotels are located across Great Britain from the rolling hills of Lancashire to Bonnie Scotland and down to the Big Smoke, the white Cliffs of Dover and with each offering its very own individuality to the group.

The first hotel is the newly named Best Western Lancashire Manor Hotel, situated in the North West of England. With historic features dating back to the 17th Century this recently refurbished Elizabethan manor boasts 47 luxurious bedrooms, stunning contemporary décor and its own Great Hall.

Just three miles from the city centre of Aberdeen sits the Best Western Summerhill Hotel and Suites - the second of our new members to join the group. This three star hotel has 45 bedrooms, of which 23 are suites, which boast their own mini kitchens. Plus it has its own Bistro, free wifi, banqueting room and free parking making it perfect for business and pleasure.

In the heart of the capital is the group’s first apartment style hotel – the Best Western Maitrise Suites Apartment Hotel in London. This brand new hotel offers guests a choice of either 17 fully serviced studios or one bedroom apartments, complete with kitchen, flatscreen TV, home cinema system, wifi and free car parking.

The next addition sits close the beautiful destinations of the Cotswolds and city of Bath in the town of Cheltenham. The Best Western Cheltenham Regency Hotel, formally The White House, has recently undergone a multi million pound refurbishment to become one of Best Western’s newest recruits. Boasting 47 bedrooms, including five suites, the individually owned, three star hotel is already familiar with the group as its sister hotel, the Best Western Victoria Square Hotel, is already a member.

And, last but not least is the Best Western Dover Marina Hotel and spa in Dover, who is returning to the group after almost a year. This hotel is currently in the final stages of a complete refurbishment and will open to the public in late March with 81 bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms and leisure club. What’s more, on a clear day you can even see France!

Like all the groups hotels, each new member will continue to be independently owned and managed, whilst meeting the strict criteria set by Best Western with regular inspections to ensure consistent quality and service.

Keith Pope, Director of Best Western added: “We pride ourselves on our portfolio of ‘hotels with personality’ and are pleased to be welcoming these six new members into this group. We have strong expansion plans for 2011 with more new hotels for the group on their way soon.”
